After breakfast at the InterContinental Lyon, we headed over to Chambery, a former capital of Savoy, for the day. The weather wasn’t great. We ended up visiting the Cathédrale Saint-François-de-Sales and Musée Savoisien with lunch in between at a Savoyard restaurant. Unfortunately, the museum of the Château des Ducs de Savoie is closed on Mondays so we could not visit.

After breakfast at the InterContinental Lyon, we traveled by train to Dijon. We visited the Church of Notre Dame, the museums of Fine Arts and Burgundian Life, and had lunch. Of course, we also bought some mustard before returning to Lyon!

After breakfast at the InterContinental, we headed over to the Fourviere Hill. The ruins of the Roman theatres were closed due to wind but we were able to visit the Lugdunum Museum and Basilica of Notre Dame. After, we walked through a bit of Old Lyon before having dinner at a bouchon.

After arriving at Geneva, we took the train over to Lyon and checked into the InterContinental Hotel Dieu. We then walked around the Presqu’ile district of the city before having dinner in the evening.

After breakfast at the AC Hotel Innsbruck, we took the bus over to Rangger Köpfl in Oberperfuss where we rode three separate gondolas to the top. After enjoying the view, we returned to Innsbruck and visited the Swarovski Kristallwelten next to their factory in Wattens. After returning to Innsbruck again, we visited the river Inn and visited the city’s cathedral.
