After our final morning at the InterContinental Lyon, we checked out and revisited the Roman theatres, which were closed for wind when we visited earlier on this trip. After, we had lunch at Bouchon Tupin before catching a train to Geneva, checked into the Crowne Plaza, and had dinner in the city.

After breakfast at the InterContinental Lyon, we headed down to Vienne by train. Once there, we visited the Cathedral, Musée Gallo-Romain, and various ruins of the Roman Empire, including the city’s Ancient Theatre. We ended the day back in Lyon with dinner at Le Bouchon des Cordeliers.

We woke up to a rainy day at the InterContinental Lyon Hotel-Dieu. After getting a late start, we spent most of the afternoon at the Museum of Fine Arts. We then had an early dinner at a bouchon in Old Lyon before an early end to the day.

After breakfast at the InterContinental Lyon, we headed over to Grenoble and visited the Museum of the Old Bishop’s Palace and adjacent Notre-Dame Cathedral. After lunch, we took the gondola up to the Bastille, a fortress that overlooks the city, and walked back down.

After breakfast at the InterContinental Lyon, we traveled by train to Dijon. We visited the Church of Notre Dame, the museums of Fine Arts and Burgundian Life, and had lunch. Of course, we also bought some mustard before returning to Lyon!
