We departed from Dulles on the 23rd, spending Christmas Eve at Haneda Airport before arriving at Guam early on Christmas Day. We spent the day mostly at the beach in front of the Westin where we stayed but ventured out to see the new Don Don Donki as well as to have lunch.

After breakfast at the Essential in Interlaken, we checked out and visited Stockhorn where we discovered a snow covered mountaintop world. After, we returned to Eigergletscher again before picking up our bags from the Essential and taking the train to Zurich, where we checked into the Kameha Grand.

After breakfast at the Essential in Interlaken, we took the train to Kandersteg to visit the Oeschinensee, an alpine lake accessible by gondola. After hiking to the lake and back, we visited the town of Thun to see Schloss Thun, its historic castle. We briefly stopped at Spiez to enjoy the view before returning to Interlaken for dinner.

After arriving at AMS, we headed to the Apollo Hotel to check in. We then headed into historic central Amsterdam where we visited the Royal Palace, followed by the New Church, Old Church, and Basilica of Saint Nicholas. We also spent time walking by the city’s canals, had some Dutch snacks, and had a seafood dinner.

After waking up at the RYSE and having breakfast, we headed back to Gyeongbokgung to see the guard changing ceremony at Gwanghwamun. We then visited the adjacent National Palace Museum before having lunch. After, we walked over to Myeongdong, visiting the Buddhist Jogyesa on the way. We walked around Myeongdong a bit, having some bingsoo and a snack before returning the RYSE to end our day.
